Join us this winter at Black & Ginger Wines for exciting wine events with winemaker Hadyn Black! Indulge in expertly curated tastings, paired with gourmet cuisine across the country. Whether you’re a seasoned wine lover or just starting out, our events offer something for everyone.

Smoke on the Water

Sunday 9th June 2024, 12–6pm, hosted by the Horsham Agriculture Society at the Maydale Reserve. Fun for all with food trucks, pop up wine bars, a brewery, distillery & cocktail van, live music, free guided tours at 2pm & 4pm, kids entertainment & activities, toasted marshmallows and drum fires. Book tickets online — $10+bf or $15 at the door. Kids free.

Grampians in a Glass

A collective of 17 winemakers from Western Victoria are setting up urban cellar door experiences at Victoria by Farmer’s Daughter at Federation Square on Thursday 27th June 2024. Taste more than 50 handcrafted wines from the Grampians Wine Region. Tickets are $149pp and include all tastings, food, entertainment and a bottle of Grampians wine to take home.

Urban Wine Walk: Cairns

Saturday 13th July 2024 — winemaker Hadyn is headed to Cairns for the Urban Wine Walk™ Winter Series. We’re excited to be partnering with Crystalbrook Collection – Whiskey & Wine Bar. A fun, self-guided wine-tasting adventure perfect for Saturday afternoons with friends.

Red Series: Ballarat

Held at the historic Mining Exchange building, Ballarat. Three sessions across two days from 26th–27th July 2024. Sample fine wines from 22 top wineries across the Grampians, Pyrenees and Ballarat wine regions. Tickets just $50+bf.

Winter Feast

A special ‘Winter Feast’ degustation dinner at the Pomonal Hall on Saturday 3rd August 2024, teaming up with the incredibly talented Cat Clarke, Chef extraordinaire from Dimboola. Canapes + three courses with matched wines = $130. Places were super limited.

Urban Wine Walk: Ballarat

Saturday 10th August 2024 — Hadyn and Lucy headed to Ballarat for the Urban Wine Walk™ Winter Series, partnering with Myles and the team at Ellingtons Wine Bar on Sturt Street. A self-guided wine-tasting adventure perfect for Saturday afternoons with mates.
