A Taste of Europe in Western Victoria — Degustation Wine Dinner

As part of the Grampians Fine Wine Festival this October 2023, Black & Ginger Wines are teaming up with The Bunyip Hotel in Cavendish to bring you a food and wine experience that will knock your socks off.

A Taste of Europe in Western Victoria degustation dinner will be a combination of European inspired dishes created using locally grown ingredients, prepared in the Bunyip Hotel’s signature style — paired with Black & Ginger wines produced from European varietals all grown in Victoria. It will feature several alternative wine varietals including Vermentino, Gewürztraminer and Nebbiolo, which have all recently scored in the 90s in the 2024 Halliday Wine Companion.

The Bunyip Hotel in Cavendish has been operating since the 1840s and is currently under the creative direction of head chef James Campbell. The aim is to deliver delicious locally grown meals in a true country pub environment.
