Named after Paddy and Hunter — Hadyn and Lucy’s beloved hounds — it’s a place where frost, fire and drought are part of the story, and where every bottle of wine begins with a year of long days, careful hands and deep respect for the soil beneath the vines. Home to Shiraz and Merlot grown under certified organic practices, Hounds Run is more than a working vineyard; it’s a place to slow down and experience the source. Stay a night or two in our tiny house overlooking the vines, watch the light shift across the Grampians ranges, and see first hand where wine truly begins.

The Tiny House

Perched on a gentle hill with sweeping 360° views of the Grampians, the Black Range and Sugarloaf Hill, it’s where Lucy and Hadyn grow the estate Shiraz and Merlot that find their way into some of our most loved wines. If you’d like to get even closer to where it all begins, Hounds Run is also home to our boutique off-grid Tiny House stay — named one of Victoria’s best winery accommodation experiences by Broadsheet.  In a world filled with constant noise and distractions, the allure of a secluded getaway has never been stronger. Imagine escaping the hustle and bustle of daily life and finding solace in a cozy, intimate space surrounded by nature.  Guest of Hounds Run enjoy a complimentary Sip Your Way tasting at the wine shed and a bottle of Black & Ginger wine on arrival.
