An Evening in the Vines
An evening in the vines at Fallen Giants is a regular event on the Grampians Winemakers calendar. Each January the regions finest pop-up for an evening of wine tasting, music and food at Fallen Giants vineyard at the base of the Grampians (Gariwerd) National Park, plus there’s a playground for the kids. Bring a picnic rug or chair and enjoy a beautiful summer evening! A tasting ticket is only required for those wishing to sample wines. Non-Tasters, designated drivers and children are free!

Summer Luncheon with Cat Clarke
We love working with the talented Cat Clarke, Chef extraordinaire and so we're headed north to Cat's home in Dimboola for a Summer Luncheon. Cat is well known for growing many of her ingredients in her own garden, sourcing seasonal local produce to supplement and uses native ingredients to enhance the flavours of her dishes.
This luncheon will include, canapes + three courses with matched wines. Please advise any dietary requirements via email contact@blackandginger.com.au

Cheers to 10 Years!
2025 marks 10 years since Hadyn and Darcy (aka the Ginger) took the leap and purchased one tonne of Shiraz grapes producing our first vintage under the wine label Black & Ginger.
As part of the 2025 Forage & Feast Festival, we're teaming up with Barney's Bar and Bistro in Pomonal, the home of our new cellar door (opening in 2025) for a relaxed and fun evening as we celebrate 10 years of winemaking and toast the upcoming harvest.
Dinner will feature matched wines, including back vintages, paired with a delicious menu crafted by guest chef, Fushy from Groke Hamilton, showcasing the freshest produce from local growers and members of the
Central Highlands Producers Hub. It’s a great chance to enjoy delicious food, great wine, and toast to a decade of Black & Ginger Wines.
Come along, share a meal, and raise a glass to the next 10 years!

Halls Gap Market
The Halls Gap Market, established in 1997, is proudly hosted by Halls Gap Primary School. Located at the Halls Gap recreational reserve throughout the year.
This vibrant outdoor market is run by dedicated parent volunteers and features a diverse range of high-quality local stalls, offering everything from arts and crafts to fresh produce, plants, fine food, and drinks including wine of course. Food and coffee vans provide delicious hot meals on-site, so come along and enjoy the warm, family-friendly atmosphere.

Grampians Grape Escape

Grampians Grape Escape is your go-to festival the first weekend in May each year. Think epic live music, award-winning wines, and masterclasses for every kind of wine lover—all set against the stunning backdrop of the Grampians (Gariwerd) National Park.
Since 1992, this iconic event has brought together more than 120 local wine and food producers, offering a feast of flavours, sights, and sounds. Held across three days in Halls Gap, you can sip, snack, and groove to your heart’s content. And with shuttle buses running from nearby towns, you can enjoy it all without a worry.
This family-friendly festival pulls in up to 8,000 guests annually, with plenty of activities and tourism experiences waiting just beyond the festival gates. Whether you're here for the wine, the tunes, or the adventure, the Grampians Grape Escape has it all.
