Black and Ginger Wines attend wine and food events throughout the year, including regional events such as the iconic Grampians Grape Escape and regularly feature on the Urban Wine Walk. As members of Grampians Wine Black and Ginger we showcase our wines at An Evening in the Vines, annual pop-up in January, Red Series in Ballarat in July and Grampians in a Glass in Melbourne during August. We also collaborate with local chefs and venues to bring exciting events to you.

150km Feast: Food Truck n Wine Fest
The 150km Feast Food & Wine Festival is a celebration of the region’s finest food and drink, bringing together producers from across the Grampians Wimmera Mallee in one relaxed outdoor setting on the lawns of the Maydale Reserve which overlooks the Wimmera River.
From 12:30pm, enjoy a relaxed afternoon of live music, wine tastings from local wineries, gin distilleries and boutique breweries, and a delicious line-up of food trucks serving up crowd favourites. It’s the perfect way to graze, sip and soak up the festival atmosphere.

Wine & Cheese Fest
We’re heading to the Wine & Cheese Fest and bringing the wild side with us. Join Black & Ginger for a line-up of creative, small-batch Grampians wines that play very nicely with a wedge (or three).
Come say hi, taste something interesting, and discover your next favourite drop. Whether you’re a die-hard Shiraz fan or chasing something a little left of centre, we’ll have something worth clinking glasses over.

Bingo @ Barney's
Celebrate St Patrick’s Day with a proper night out, Barney’s style. Your $40 prepaid ticket includes bingo games, prizes, and one pre-selected Irish-inspired main meal. Desserts available to purchase separately on the night.
Plus, of course, a Black & Ginger pop-up wine bar, with all your usual favourites available at Barney’s Bar too.
Spots are limited and tickets are prepaid. Get in early.

Movie Night at the Wine Shed
Settle in for a relaxed night of contemporary classics at the Wine Shed. Popcorn & Pours is our take on movie night — good films, great wine and zero fuss.
Dinner is available next door at Barney’s Bar & Bistro before or during the film, freshly popped popcorn will be flowing, and the bar will be open for pours of your favourite Black & Ginger wines.

Halls Gap Market
The Halls Gap Market, established in 1997, is proudly hosted by Halls Gap Primary School. Located at the Halls Gap recreational reserve throughout the year.
This vibrant outdoor market is run by dedicated parent volunteers and features a diverse range of high-quality local stalls, offering everything from arts and crafts to fresh produce, plants, fine food, and drinks including wine of course. Food and coffee vans provide delicious hot meals on-site, so come along and enjoy the warm, family-friendly atmosphere.

The event will be at Barney's but the Black & Ginger Wine Takeover means the bar will be pouring Black & Ginger wines only, while Barneys runs the rest of the bar as normal.

Grampians Grape Escape
One Festival. One Location. Endless Good Times.
Grampians Grape Escape is your go-to festival the first weekend in May each year. Think epic live music, award-winning wines, and masterclasses for every kind of wine lover—all set against the stunning backdrop of the Grampians (Gariwerd) National Park.
Since 1992, this iconic event has brought together more than 120 local wine and food producers, offering a feast of flavours, sights, and sounds. Held across three days in Halls Gap, you can sip, snack, and groove to your heart’s content. And with shuttle buses running from nearby towns, you can enjoy it all without a worry.
This family-friendly festival pulls in up to 8,000 guests annually, with plenty of activities and tourism experiences waiting just beyond the festival gates. Whether you're here for the wine, the tunes, or the adventure, the Grampians Grape Escape has it all.

Ready to hit the high notes (or at least give it a red-hot go)? Join us at the Black & Ginger Wine Shed for Pitch Imperfect - Karaoke – a night of bold ballads, questionable harmonies, and seriously good wine.
Barney’s Bar & Bistro will be taking orders from the shed and delivering dinner straight to your seat, so you can fuel up without missing a beat. Whether you're crooning classics, belting out bangers or just cheering from the crowd with a glass in hand, this is your stage. Wine will be flowing, mics will be hot – and yes, your friends will film you.

Bring along your current project or start something new — we’ll have yarn and needles on hand. Better yet, help us create a one-of-a-kind Black & Ginger 'Yarn Bomb' to warm the Shed.
