Events

Black and Ginger Wines attend wine and food events throughout the year, including regional events such as the iconic Grampians Grape Escape and regularly feature on the Urban Wine Walk. As members of Grampians Wine Black and Ginger we showcase our wines at An Evening in the Vines, annual pop-up in January Red Series in Ballarat in July and Grampians in a Glass in Melbourne during August. We also collaborate with local chefs and venues to bring exciting events to you.

Murder at the Wine Shed

As part of the Grampians Fine Wine Festival in October we're hosting a Wine-Fuelled Whodunnit at the wine shed. Originally created for the Wine Research Institute of Australia (yes, really), this murder mystery experience has now been uncorked for your twisted pleasure at the Black & Ginger Wine Shed.

If you’ve ever dreamed of drowning a frenemy in a vat of Merlot (purely hypothetically, of course), this is your kind of night. Settle in and prepare for an evening of deceit, deduction, delicious wine and a delectable three course feast!

When: Saturday 18th October 2025

Ready to roll the dice on a great night out? Join us at the Black & Ginger Wine Shed for Board Game Night — where strategy meets Shiraz and fun is always on the cards.

Bring your favourite game from home or dive into our stash of classics and cult favourites. Whether you're into fierce competition or chill, wine-fuelled laughs, there’s a table (and a glass) waiting for you.

Come solo, bring a crew, or make new mates as you game the night away in our cosy Grampians wine shed. No pressure, just plenty of wine (or beer) and good times.

Grab your yarn and your glass – we’re getting cozy at the Black & Ginger Wine Shed for an afternoon where 'Knit Happens'

Whether you're a seasoned stitcher or just curious about casting on, join us for a laid-back afternoon of wine, wool and good vibes with knitting legend Jade from Zooblast.

Bring along your current project or start something new — we’ll have yarn and needles on hand. Better yet, help us create a one-of-a-kind Black & Ginger 'Yarn Bomb' to warm the Shed.

Free entry, great wine by the glass, and plenty of warm fuzzies. Let’s knit, sip, and make something together.
