The Black & Ginger Wine Shed is a laid-back, eclectic hideaway for wine lovers and wanderers alike. Located next door to Barney's Bar & Bistro in Pomonal, we invite you to come in and make yourself at home in a space where vintage charm meets a relaxed country vibe. Pull up a chair for a wine tasting, sink into a comfy lounge with a book, or challenge your mates to a board game over a glass of premium small-batch vino. When the sun’s out, head outdoors to our seating area — the perfect spot to sip, snack, and soak up those easy summer vibes.

At the Wine Shed, Black & Ginger offers a small, curated range of wine experiences designed to be relaxed, flexible, and genuinely enjoyable. Everything we do is about exploration, conversation, and making wine feel approachable — whether you’re popping in for a tasting or settling in at one of our special events.
We’re proudly dog friendly, bring your four-legged friend along to enjoy the good vibes with you inside (when food is not being served) and outside all year round.

Jam & Juice

Jam & Juice is a wine and music pairing experience that brings sound and flavour together in a playful, immersive way.
Who it’s for?
Ideal for music lovers, creative thinkers, and anyone looking for a tasting experience that’s a little left of centre.
What’s included?
Choose four wines, 50ml pours, each paired with curated playlists accessed via QR code or if you enjoy a tactile experience, with one of our discmans. Headphones are provided so you can fully sink into the experience.
Duration?
Approximately 45–60 minutes.

Jam & Juice adds an emotional and sensory layer to wine tasting, inviting you to experience flavour through mood, rhythm, and sound.What is the cost?

Private Vineyard Retreat — Off-Grid Tiny House with 360° Views
Sit at the top of the vineyard as the vines turn gold and the Grampians range stretches to the horizon. Watch the sun set over the Black Ranges with a glass of Lucy's Rosé or Lily's Block Shiraz both of which are produced with Hounds Run fruit. This is Hounds Run in autumn — and there is nowhere else quite like it.
As darkness falls, the vineyard reveals one of its most magical features — spectacular dark night skies perfect for stargazing. More than just accommodation, Hounds Run offers couples a tiny house vineyard and farm stay experience — playful, memorable and completely unique.
