Black & Ginger attend wine and food events throughout the year, including regional events such as the iconic Grampians Grape Escape and regularly feature on the Urban Wine Walk. As members of Grampians Wine we showcase our wines at An Evening in the Vines, annual pop-up in January, Red Series in Ballarat in July and Grampians in a Glass in Melbourne during August. We regularly collaborate with local chefs and venues to bring exciting events to you.

Decade: 10 Years on the Run
A dinner to celebrate Ten Years on the Run
Ten years ago, with family in our corner, we took on Hounds Run Vineyard. To celebrate, we’re serving five courses from Executive Chef Dean Sibthorp at IRIS by Block & Cleaver, each with a matched Black & Ginger wine. The star of the night is the 2017 Lily’s Block Shiraz, named for Hadyn’s mum Lily and made only in our very best vintages (just four in ten years).
PLUS, we’ll be giving guests a sneaky preview of a brand new wine ahead of it’s official release. Black & Ginger E.K.H. 85 Chardonnay. So many reasons why, this is the dinner you don’t want to miss!

Beatroute and The Nang Nangs are a 7 piece band hailing from, Pomonal, Halls Gap, Ballarat, Stawell, Melbourne, Noradjuha and Natimuk. A high energy, original dance band aiming to get you on the dance floor and take you away to fun-land. Rock-surf, folk-punk, pirate-jazz – they don’t know what it is! But with horns, electric violin and a raucous rhythm section – what more could you ask for! Come along and have a dance!

Grampians Grape Escape
One Festival. One Location. Endless Good Times.
Grampians Grape Escape is your go-to festival the first weekend in May each year. Think epic live music, award-winning wines, and masterclasses for every kind of wine lover—all set against the stunning backdrop of the Grampians (Gariwerd) National Park.
Since 1992, this iconic event has brought together more than 120 local wine and food producers, offering a feast of flavours, sights, and sounds. Held across three days in Halls Gap, you can sip, snack, and groove to your heart’s content. And with shuttle buses running from nearby towns, you can enjoy it all without a worry.
This family-friendly festival pulls in up to 8,000 guests annually, with plenty of activities and tourism experiences waiting just beyond the festival gates. Whether you’re here for the wine, the tunes, or the adventure, the Grampians Grape Escape has it all.
