Take a journey with Black & Ginger's Gypsy Vermentino. In 2022, Hadyn travelled across the state, covering hundreds of kilometers and even sleeping in the back of his ute to collect and press this the fruit for this wine.

The Story:

The name "Gypsy" came to Hadyn as he felt like a modern-day wanderer on his grape sourcing adventures. The grapes for Gypsy Vermentino were discovered in former tobacco country outside of Porepunkah, at the base of Mt Buffalo in the Alpine Valleys Wine Region.

Tasting Notes:

This wine is a vibrant mix of lemon, grapefruit, and stone fruits, with a refreshing acidity that makes it perfect for any occasion, but pairs especially well with fish & chips. The Gypsy Vermentino is a super rare find, with only a limited quantity available due to a low yielding vintage in 2023. Don't miss out on the chance to experience this crisp and delicious wine.
